Transfers

Transfers will be provided for buyers to and from the afternoon/evening events. Please be ready in the hotel lobby to be collected at the below times from the hotel you are staying at. If you miss the transfer, please make your own way to the venue.

New Product "Mastering Your Pitch" Session

The "Mastering Your Pitch" session will encompass 10 new product sellers who are currently undergoing trade readiness training with ATEC, supported by Tourism NT, as they each present a 5-minute product pitch. Following each pitch, you will be encouraged to provide feedback via a QR code provided on the day.

  • Location: RFDS Darwin Tourist Facility
  • Address: 45 Stokes Hill Rd, Darwin City
  • Timing: 3:00pm - 5:00pm
  • Enjoy a tour of the RFDS Darwin Tourist Facility before the new product pitch presentations.
  • Please find the new product seller directory HERE of those who will be presenting at the "Mastering Your Pitch" Session.
  • Dress: Business casual
  • Note: For those buyers on the Red Centre pre famil, due to your arrival time into Darwin, you will not attend this session but meet the rest of the delegates at the Welcome Function Dinner Cruise. The presentations will be made available following the session for those that miss it and you will be able to network with the new product sellers at the Welcome Function Dinner Cruise.
  • Following the conclusion of the pitch presentations, the group will walk next door to board the Welcome Function Dinner Cruise.

Welcome Function Dinner Cruise

Join 30+ local seller members, the new product sellers and fellow buyers for great food, drinks, and networking aboard the Charles Darwin Sunset Cruise.

  • Location: Darwin Harbour Cruises
  • Address: 7 Stokes Hill Rd, Darwin City
  • Boarding: 5:30pm - 5:45pm sharp
  • Duration: 6:00pm - 8:30pm 
  • Dress: Business casual. Sunglasses and a hat are recommended - the sun will set at approximately 6.41pm. Appropriate footwear is also recommended - no stilettos however a chunky heel or wedges is fine.
  • Note: if you suffer from sea sickness, please bring any medication that may assist. We will also have some on hand in case required.

Transfers

Following the Welcome Function Dinner Cruise, buyers will be transferred back to the hotels you are staying at.

Transfers

Transfers will be provided for buyers attending the B2B meetings at Oaks Darwin Elan Hotel. Please be ready in the hotel lobby to be collected at the below times from the hotel you are staying at. If you miss the transfer, please make your own way to the venue.

Please note that buyers staying at the Mantra Pandanas Darwin will not be transferred as the Oaks Darwin Elan Hotel is located just around the corner (2-minute walk).

Please also note that transfers will not be provided back to the hotels following the B2B meetings and networking happy hour drinks as the remainder of the evening is at the buyer's leisure.

Business-to-Business (B2B) Meetings and Networking Happy Hour Drinks

  • Location: Oaks Darwin Elan Hotel 
  • Address: 31 Woods St, Darwin City
  • Enter the hotel lobby and take the lift or stairs up to the level 1 conference spaces.
  • There is no formal meeting schedule for this event - all buyers will meet with all sellers. 
  • There will be a total of 43 meetings throughout the day for sellers - buyers will have a number of free appointments based on the buyer: seller ratio. We will do our best to slot these free appointments together so that you can make the most of your time to do any work or business follow ups.
  • Sellers will be seated, and buyers will rotate around the room to conduct the meetings.
  • Each meeting will proceed for approximately 9 minutes with a 1-minute change over.
  • Please note that additional buyer delegates will participate in meetings with the primary buyer delegate. They do not receive their own meeting schedule.
  • Please find the seller directory HERE of those that will be in attendance to assist with meeting preparation.

Approximate timings for the day:

  • 8:00am – Arrival and registration
  • 8.20am - Sellers to be seated at their tables
  • 8.25am - Buyers to be seated at their starting tables
  • 8.30am – Welcome and meetings to commence
  • 10:30am – Morning tea (25 mins)
  • 12:45pm – Lunch (45 mins)
  • 3:20pm – Afternoon Tea (25 mins)
  • 5:25pm – Meetings conclude and final wrap up
  • 5:30pm – Networking Happy Hour Drinks to commence
  • 6:30pm – Drinks to conclude. Remainder of evening at leisure
