EVENT INFORMATION - SELLERS

We’re very looking forward to seeing you in Darwin for ATEC's Explore Northern Territory Trade Engagement event, in proud partnership with Tourism NT.  

Please see details below to assist with event preparation and throughout the event. A reminder to also navigate through the website for all event related updates including the overall program, locations and venues.

Welcome Function Dinner Cruise

Join 50 buyer members from across Australia, new product sellers as well as 30+ local seller members for great food, drinks, and networking aboard the Charles Darwin Sunset Cruise.

• Location: Darwin Harbour Cruises
• Address: 7 Stokes Hill Rd, Darwin City
• Registration from 5.15pm - a table will be set up in the 2nd arcade on Stokes Hill Wharf
• Boarding: 5:30pm - 5:45pm sharp from Dock 3. Note the gates will be closing at 5.50pm
• Duration: 6:00pm - 8:30pm 
• Dress: Business casual. Sunglasses and a hat are recommended - the sun will set at approximately 6.41pm. Appropriate footwear is also recommended - no stilettos however a chunky heel or wedges is fine.
• Note: if you suffer from sea sickness, please bring any medication that may assist. We will also have some on hand in case required.

Business-to-Business (B2B) Meetings and Networking Happy Hour Drinks

• Location: Oaks Darwin Elan Hotel 
• Address: 31 Woods St, Darwin City
• Enter the hotel lobby and take the lift or stairs up to the level 1 conference spaces.
  
• There is no formal meeting schedule for this event - all sellers will meet with all buyers. 
• There will be approximately 42 meetings throughout the day for sellers.
• Sellers will be seated, and buyers will rotate around the room to conduct the meetings.
• Each meeting will proceed for approximately 9 minutes with a 1-minute change over.
• Please note that additional seller delegates will participate in the meetings with the primary seller delegate. They do not receive their own meeting schedule.

Approximate timings for the day:

• 8:00am – Arrival and registration
• 8.20am - Sellers to be seated at their tables
• 8.25am - Buyers to be seated at their starting tables
• 8.30am – Welcome and meetings to commence
• 10:30am – Morning tea (25 mins)
• 12:45pm – Lunch (45 mins)
• 3:20pm – Afternoon Tea (25 mins)
• 5:25pm – Meetings conclude and final wrap up
• 5:30pm – Networking Happy Hour Drinks to commence
• 6:30pm – Drinks to conclude. Remainder of evening at leisure
