BUYER FAMILIARISATIONS
All approved full delegate Buyer are entitled to experience one wine experience familiarisation hosted by the South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC). You will be required to choose your first and second preference from the below options.
Barossa - Pre famil
Sunday 16 June – Tuesday 17 June
While in the Barossa, you’ll experience blending your own wine, barrel tastings experiences and tasting port from your birth year. This famil commences at 11.00 am on Sunday 16 June. Sunday and Monday will be spent in the Barossa returning to Adelaide on the morning of Tuesday 18 June.
Clare Valley & Barossa - Post famil
Friday
21 June – Saturday 22 June
Buyer delegates will travel to the Clare Valley, the home of Australian Riesling. Spend the day and evening in Clare visiting multiple wineries and on Saturday visit the Barossa before returning to Adelaide Airport by 5pm.
Adelaide & Adelaide Hills - Post Famil
Friday
21 June – Saturday 22 June
Spend the morning in Adelaide exploring the Adelaide Central Markets and Penfolds Magill Estate before venturing to the Adelaide Hills. Spend the night in the Hills and on Sunday explore this region further. This famil will finish at Adelaide Airport at 5pm.
Barossa - Post famil
Friday 21 June – Saturday 22 June
Travel to the Barossa to spend two days here where you will blend your own wine, barrel tasting experiences and tasting port from your birth year. This famil finishes at Adelaide Airport at 5pm.
