Cruise Whitsundays transfers to Daydream Island
Delegates are required to transfer to Daydream Island throughout the day on individually pre-booked cruise transfers. If you have not already booked, please do so and confirm your transfer details with the ATEC Events Team via events@atec.net.au. If you require the booking instructions again, please reach out to the ATEC Events Team.

Once you have arrived on Daydream Island, please make your way to the hotel reception to check in prior to the welcome and networking function.
Welcome to Daydream Island
Join all registered buyer and seller delegates for welcome canapés and drinks, while watching the sunset at Lovers Cove, a secluded ocean front venue on the island.
- Location: Lovers Cove
- Time: 5.00pm - 6.00pm
- Dress: Business casual. Sunglasses and a hat are recommended - the sun will set at approximately 5.30pm. Appropriate footwear is also recommended.
Dinner and Networking
Following the welcome at Lovers Cove, transfer to the Eclipse Room & Terrace for chef-curated food stations, drinks and networking.

Breakfast
Breakfast is available at Graze Restaurant in the main atrium from 7.00am.
Note: for those delegates departing after the Business-to-Business meetings today, please check out prior to the meetings and store your luggage at reception.
Business-to-Business (B2B) Meetings
- Location: Horizon Room 1 & 2
- F&B: Morning tea and afternoon tea will be served in the Infinity Room & Terrace. Lunch will be served in Graze Restaurant.
- There is no formal meeting schedule for this event - all buyers will meet with all sellers.
- There will be a total of 26 meetings throughout the day for sellers and 21 for buyers. Buyers will have some spare appointments throughout the day.
- Sellers will be seated, and buyers will rotate around the room to conduct the meetings.
- Each meeting will proceed for approximately 10 minutes with a 1-minute change over.
- Please note that additional delegates will participate in meetings with the primary delegate. They do not receive their own meeting schedule.

- Dress code: Business casual
- 8:30am – Arrival and registration
- 8.50am - Sellers to be seated at their tables
- 8.55am - Buyers to be seated at their starting tables
- 9.00am – Welcome and meetings to commence
- 10:50am – Morning tea (30 mins)
- 1.00pm – Lunch (1 hour)
- 3:30pm – Meetings conclude and afternoon tea (20 mins)
- 4.00pm - Following the B2B meetings, delegates can enjoy some free time on the island or catch up on work prior to the evening's activities.
What to bring to the B2B - Sellers
Relative to marketing collateral and in an effort to be more sustainable ATEC:
- Encourages all delegates to "go green". Please bring as much marketing collateral electronically as possible on fully charged iPad/laptops. There will be charging points within the room however they will not be directly accessible from their tables. We do understand some sellers may wish to bring printed presentations which is OK if you prefer.
- Discourages the need for prizes, giveaways etc. in an effort to reduce waste and our carbon footprint for the event.
- Advises that no pull up banners or display signage is permitted.
Island BBQ Dinner
Enjoy a relaxed BBQ buffet style dinner and drinks in the open-air Tidal Lounge, overlooking the water.
- Location: Tidal Lounge
- Time: 6.00 - 7.30pm
- Dress: Business casual
Movie night under the stars
End the day with a classic movie under the stars. Bring your drink and snacks and unwind with your industry peers.
- Location: Outdoor Cinema
- Time: 7.30pm - 9.30pm
- Dress: Business casual
For delegates that would like to continue networking, the Tonic Bar at the hotel will be open until late.

Morning Activities - Choose your own adventure
Daydream Island have curated some morning activities for ATEC delegates to enjoy prior to departing. If you would like to participate, please email Jade Yvonne via jade.yvonne@daydreamisland.com with your name and the one you would like to join.
1. Morning meditation in the underwater observatory | 8.30am - 9.00am
Relax and stretch while immersed in the serenity of marine life.
Note: limited to 15 guests - please register early to secure your spot.
2. Snorkeling at Lovers Cove | 8.00am - 9.00am
Discover colourful coral and marine life just off the beach.
3. Island rainforest walk with guide | 8.00am - 9.00am
Step into Daydream Island’s lush interior on a guided rainforest walk, where tropical flora and island
stories come to life. Meet at Tonic Bar to collect a bottle of water before setting off on this refreshing
morning adventure. Comfortable walking shoes are essential for this immersive experience through
nature.

Delegates are required to check out of the hotel by 10.00am and transfer from Daydream Island throughout the day on individually pre-booked cruise transfers. Additional Information
If buyers plan to extend their stay outside of the event and would like to experience product in region, local sellers have provided some offers for buyers attending this event. Please see the details listed on the event website here and follow the instructions listed to book directly.
Accommodation
- Buyers - two nights' accommodation including breakfast for Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 June 2025 at Daydream Island Resort, is included in your registration fee. ATEC has coordinated these bookings directly with the hotel.
- Sellers - if you haven't already, please book your accommodation at Daydream Island Resort directly. Please see the industry rate details and instructions listed here on the event website.

Can I transfer my registration to another person?
- Sellers - yes.
- Buyers - it may be possible, but given travel arrangements have now been confirmed, there will likely be costs associated with making alternative arrangements.
- In both cases, there will be a delegate change fee of $150 + GST. Please contact events@atec.net.au to discuss.
