Please see below a brief outline of ATEC's Explore North Queensland 2025 Trade Engagement Event. These are indicative timings, and we encourage you to continue to monitor this page as further details will be confirmed and added in the lead up to the event.
Day One: Tuesday 17 June 2025

| Cruise Whitsundays transfers - Port of Airlie or Hamilton Island to Daydream Island | Time: Arrive on Daydream Island by 4.45pm. Recommend departing on the 4.05pm cruise transfer from Airlie Beach to arrive on Daydream Island by 4.35pm. OR depart on the 3.55pm cruise transfer from Hamilton Island/Hamilton Island Airport to arrive on Daydream Island by 4.45pm. Note: you are welcome to transfer to Daydream Island earlier in the day depending on your travel arrangements. Please see the Cruise Whitsundays timetable here. Event travel dates/times -
As a general guide for those travelling from outside of the Whitsundays or interstate, please see indicative travel times below*.
- Buyers - please aim to arrive by early-afternoon of Tuesday 17 June to transfer to Daydream Island and attend the Welcome Networking Function. Please plan to depart from Thursday 19 June. If you are arriving early / departing later due to experiencing local products in regions, please arrange your travel accordingly.
- Sellers - please aim to arrive by early-afternoon of Tuesday 17 June to transfer to Daydream Island and attend the Welcome Networking Function. Please plan to depart either after the B2B meetings or from Thursday 19 June.
The meetings will occur on Wednesday 18 June. We estimate that there will be approximately 25 meeting opportunities throughout the day. Meetings will be approximately 10 minutes plus a 1-minute changeover. Please note:
- The number of appointments you receive cannot be guaranteed; this is just the maximum number of meetings we anticipate will be held throughout the day.
- There will be no set B2B meeting schedule or preferencing for this event. Appointments will occur on a rotational basis throughout the day. Sellers will be seated, and buyers will rotate as specified on the day.
