ALL DELEGATES

We’re very looking forward to seeing you in the Barossa/Ngadjuri Country for ATEC's Explore South Australia Trade Engagement event, in proud partnership with Barossa Australia and the South Australia Tourism Commission (SATC).  

Please see details below to assist with event preparation and throughout the event. Tuesday 5 August 2025

Note: please bring warm layers for later in the day as it will get cooler and the group will be outside for some of it. 

Buyers site visit at Majestic M Suites, followed by lunch at Cottage Kitchen

All buyers are required to make their own way to Majestic M Suites for a site visit, followed by lunch with available sellers in the adjacent Cottage Kitchen including a welcome address from Hon Zoe Bettison, Minister for Tourism. 

Site visit for buyers

Location: Majestic M Suites

Address: 202 Tynte Street, North Adelaide

Arrival time: Prior to 12pm for a site visit of Majestic M Suites and Cottage Kitchen

Buyer Instructions: On arrival, please check in with the reception team at Majestic M Suites who will be expecting you. Please mention you are attending the Explore South Australia.  You will be able to store your luggage and, if you arrive early, wait in the lounge area prior to commencement of the formal event.

Welcome & Lunch (For all buyers and available sellers)

Enter via Majestic M Suites to register and then make your way to Cottage Kitchen

Location: Cottage Kitchen

Address: 198 Tynte Street, North Adelaide

Time: 12.30pm sharp for lunch and refreshments plus an official welcome by the Hon Zoe Bettison, Minister for Tourism.

Parking: Overnight car parking is available free of charge for South Australian based buyers and $12 for all others. If required, please contact Shaun Brennan via bdml@majestichotels.com.au to arrange. Upon arrival at Majestic M Suites, please:

  • park out the front
  • drop bags with reception (if required)
  • make payment
  • drive around the corner
  • the team will buzz you through to the car park
  • catch the lift back upstairs and walk across to Cottage Kitchen

Sealink coach transfers to the Barossa

  • Time: 1.30pm sharp for a 1.45pm departure
  • Pick up location: Outside Cottage Kitchen, 198 Tynte Street, North Adelaide
  • Approximate travel time: 
    • To Barossa stop 1 - Jamhouse: 1 hour arriving by 2.45pm
    • Between Jamhouse and Lambert Estate: 15 minutes arriving by 4.15pm
    • Between Lambert Estate and Novotel Barossa: 15 minutes arriving by 7.30pm

Destination Showcase

Join nearly 65 buyer and seller delegates for a fabulous Destination Showcase throughout the Barossa, South Australia.  Recommended attire is business casual throughout.

Location # 1 

  • Location: Jam House
  • Address: 494 Research Road, Nuriootpa
  • Arrival: 2.45pm - welcome from Barossa Australia followed by a behind-the-scenes look into the Jamhouse - home to some of the Barossa’s most exciting small-batch wine producers. For self-drivers, please meet in the car park at Jam House at 2.45pm sharp for commencement of the experience.
  • Duration & inclusions: 2.45pm - 4.00pm for two rotating experiences of 30 minutes each. Delegates will be pre-allocated across two groups to experience the following
    • Barrel Hall tasting - Wine tasting with the winemakers themselves
    • Winery tour and blind tasting - guided tour and blind tasting of featured wines
Location # 2

  • Location: Lambert Estate 
  • Address: 55 Long Gully Road, Angaston
  • Arrival: 4.15pm arrival at the Lambert Estate. All delegates to meet and greet here (whether part of the group transfer or self-driving)
  • Duration & inclusions: 
    • 4.15pm - 5.15pm for a Lambert Estate wine and venue experience where delegates will enjoy two rotating experiences of 30 mins each where delegates will be pre-allocated across two groups to experience the following:
      • Activity 1 - Behind the scenes and wine tasting
      • Activity 2 - Golf buggy tour of the estate to enjoy local flora and fauna
    • 5.30pm - 7.00pm - Sunset drinks with a shared grazing dinner in the Estate restaurant.
Following the conclusion of the event, delegates will either transfer to the Novotel Barossa Valley Resort via pre-arranged coach or make their own arrangements to their overnight accommodation if they have independently booked or return to Adelaide. For those staying at the Novotel Barossa, check in will be coordinated on arrival and the remainder of the evening will be at leisure.

Breakfast

Breakfast is available in The Cellar Kitchen from 7.00am

Note: for those delegates departing after the Business-to-Business meetings today, please check out prior to the meetings and store your luggage at reception.

Business-to-Business (B2B) Meetings

  • Location: Shiraz A & B Rooms
  • F&B: Morning tea and afternoon tea will be served adjacent to the Shiraz Rooms. Lunch will be served in The Cellar Kitchen.
  • There is no formal meeting schedule for this event - all buyers will meet with all sellers. 
  • There will be a total of 30 meetings throughout the day for buyers and 26 for sellers. Sellers will have some spare appointments throughout the day.
  • Sellers will be seated, and buyers will rotate around the room to conduct the meetings.
  • Each meeting will proceed for approximately 9 minutes with a 1-minute change over.
  • Please note that additional delegates will participate in meetings with the primary delegate. They do not receive their own meeting schedule.

  • Dress code: Business casual
Approximate timings for the day:
  • 8:30am – Arrival and registration
  • 8.50am - Sellers to be seated at their tables
  • 8.55am - Buyers to be seated at their starting tables
  • 9.00am – Welcome and meetings to commence
  • 10:30am – Morning tea (30 mins)
  • 12.20pm – Lunch (1 hour)
  • 2.40pm - Afternoon tea (30 mins)
  • 4.10pm – Meetings conclude and afternoon tea (20 mins)
  • 4.15pm - Following the B2B meetings, post-event refreshments will be served in the Cellar Kitchen
  • 5.00pm - All delegates to depart on coaches, famils or via their own transport

Return coach transfers to Adelaide

Return transfers to Adelaide will be provided for those requiring them following the conclusion of the B2B. Drop offs will be offered at the Majestic M Suites, Crowne Plaza Adelaide (for buyers participating in the Adelaide famil program) as well as the Adelaide Airport.

Additional Information

What to bring to the B2B - Sellers

Relative to marketing collateral and in an effort to be more sustainable ATEC:

  • Encourages all delegates to "go green". Please bring as much marketing collateral electronically as possible on fully charged iPad/laptops. There will be charging points within the room however they will not be directly accessible from B2B tables. We do understand some sellers may wish to bring printed presentations which is OK if you prefer.
  • Discourages the need for prizes, giveaways etc. in an effort to reduce waste and our carbon footprint for the event.
  • Advises that no pull up banners or display signage is permitted.
Accommodation
  • Buyers - one nights' accommodation including breakfast for Tuesday 5 August at Novotel Barossa Valley Resort, 42 Pioneer Ave, Barossa Valley, is included in your registration fee. ATEC has coordinated these bookings directly with the hotel.
  • Sellersif you haven't already, please book your accommodation please see the accommodation offers listed here on the event website.
What happens if I can no longer attend?

Can I transfer my registration to another person?

  • Sellers - yes.
  • Buyers - it may be possible but given travel and famil arrangements have now been confirmed, there will likely be costs associated with making alternative arrangements. 
    • In both cases and as stated in our terms and conditions, there will be a delegate change fee of $150 + GST. Please contacevents@atec.net.au to discuss. 
What is the weather like in the Barossa during August?

August is a cosy and cool time of year to visit the Barossa. Average temperature range: daytime 12C-16C; nights 3C-6C.
