Please see below a brief outline of ATEC's Explore Tasmania 2025 Trade Engagement Event

These are indicative timings, and we encourage you to continue to monitor this page as further details will be confirmed and added in the lead up to the event


Day One: Tuesday 2 September 2025

Note: For buyers arriving in Launceston, a transfer will be arranged from the Airport to arrive in Devonport by early -mid afternoon. 
Please ensure your flight arrives by mid-day (no later than 1.30pm) to make the transfer.

Welcome Networking Function            Time: Transfers to commence from 3.45pm from Novotel Devonport (40 min drive)

Welcome Networking Function to commence from 4.30pm for a farm tour/experience followed by dinner and refreshments.

At the conclusion of the Welcome Networking Function, delegates will be transferred to back to Novotel Devonport.

Day Two: Wednesday 3 September 2025

Famil Program

Note: Famil itineraries will be offered to delegates based on the famil questionnaire responses completed as part of the registration process. An invitation to attend the famil program is at the discretion of the TTAS and cannot be guaranteed. TTAS will be in touch with buyer delegates once registrations close to confirm further details

Additional Information

Event travel dates/times - 

As a general guide for those travelling from outside of Devonport or interstate, please see indicative travel times below*.
  • Buyers - please aim to arrive by early afternoon of Tuesday 2 September for the welcome function to commence from mid-afternoon. Please plan to depart in the morning on Thursday 4 September OR if you are selected to participate in a post-event famil, please plan to depart following its conclusion (more details to come from TTAS).
  • Sellers - please aim to arrive by early afternoon of Tuesday 2 September for the welcome function to commence from mid-afternoon. Please plan to depart after the B2B meetings on Wednesday 3 September.
B2B meetings - 
The meetings will occur on Wednesday 3 September. We estimate that there will be approximately 25 meeting opportunities throughout the day. Meetings will be approximately 10 minutes including a 1-minute changeover. Please note:
  • The number of appointments you receive cannot be guaranteed; this is just the maximum number of meetings we anticipate will be held throughout the day.
  • There will be no set B2B meeting schedule or preferencing for this event. Appointments will occur on a rotational basis throughout the day. Sellers will be seated, and buyers will rotate as specified on the day.
