All Delegates

We’re looking forward to seeing you in Brisbane/Meanjin for ATEC's Explore South Queensland Trade Engagement event, in proud partnership with Brisbane Economic Development Agency. 

Please see the details below to assist with event preparation and throughout the event. A reminder to also navigate through the website for all event-related updates including the overall program.

Arrival and Departure

All delegates are required to make their own way to and from Brisbane/Meanjin for the event. 

Airport transfers:

If you require an airport transfer, please see the below details for a 25% discount, kindly provided by Con-X-ion Airport Transfers.

Buyers:
  • For interstate buyers, flight arrangements and airport transfers are not included in the registration fee and will need to be coordinated and funded independently. 
  • Arrival: Please arrive by early afternoon on Wednesday 24 June for check-in at the hotel and transfer pick up for the welcome networking function mid-afternoon. If you are participating in a pre-event famil program, please plan your travel arrangements as per the famil itinerary.
  • Departure: Please plan to depart after the B2B meetings and networking refreshments on Thursday 25 June, or at the conclusion of the post-event famil program (if you are participating in one). 
Sellers:
  • Arrival: Please arrive by early afternoon on Wednesday 24 June if you require the transfer to the welcome networking function mid-afternoon. Please see the details and timings listed below.
  • Departure: Please plan to depart after the conclusion of the B2B meetings and networking refreshments on Thursday 25 June.

Welcome Networking Function - Koala and River Cruise followed by experiences, refreshments and dinner at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

Coach transfer

A coach transfer will be provided for buyers and any sellers that require one, from the Hotel Grand Chancellor Brisbane to Koala and River Cruises.

Please be ready where and when indicated below to be collected. If you miss the coach transfer, please make your own way to the Koala and River Cruises Pontoon at Southbank Boardwalk by 3.30pm for the cruise transfer, or make your own way to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary for 5.00pm.


Cruise transfer via Koala and River Cruises

All registered delegates are invited to attend the cruise transfer to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. Light refreshments will be provided on board. 

If you miss or are unable to make this transfer, please make your own way to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary for 5.00pm.


Experiences, refreshments and dinner at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

All registered delegates are invited to attend the Welcome Networking Function at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, for an evening of experiences, refreshments and dinner.

  • Time: 5.00pm - 7.30pm
  • Location: Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary
  • Address: 708 Jesmond Rd, Fig Tree Pocket QLD 4069
  • Dress code: Business casual. Please bring a warm jacket as you will be outdoors for some of the evening. Please also wear appropriate and comfortable footwear.

At the conclusion of the event, a coach transfer will be provided back to Hotel Grand Chancellor Brisbane, arriving at approximately 8.00pm.


Parking

If you chose to drive to the venue there is ample free parking available close to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. Please drive to the end of the driveway and either park to the left of the roundabout or turn right and then left as you come up the driveway. These are the main, well-lit car parks.

Breakfast & hotel check out

  • Breakfast is available at Hotel Grand Chancellor Brisbane in Frescos Restaurant (ground floor) from 6.30am.
  • Please check out and store your luggage at reception prior to the B2B meetings.


Business-to-Business (B2B) Meetings

  • Location: Hotel Grand Chancellor Brisbane
  • Address: 23 Leichhardt St, Spring Hill QLD 4000
  • Venue spaces: 
    • The B2B meetings will be held in the Roma, Terrace and Wickham rooms on level 1. 
    • Registration will be in the pre-function area on level 1 along with morning tea and afternoon tea. 
    • Lunch will be held in Frescos Restaurant (ground floor).
    • Post B2B refreshments will be held in the Terrace Bar.
  • There is no formal meeting schedule for this event - all buyers will meet with all sellers in a rotational format throughout the day. 
  • There will be approximately 34 meetings for buyers and 30 meetings for sellers. Sellers will have a few spare meeting slots throughout the day based on buyer to seller ratios.
  • Sellers will be seated, and buyers will rotate around the room to conduct the meetings.
  • Each meeting will proceed for approximately 9 minutes with a 1-minute change over.

Approximate timings for the day:

  • 8.30am – Arrival and registration
  • 8.50am - Sellers to be seated at their tables
  • 8.55am - Buyers to be seated at their starting tables
  • 9.00am – Welcome and meetings to commence
  • 10:40am – Morning tea (30 mins)
  • 12:40pm – Lunch (1 hour) 
  • 3.00pm – Afternoon Tea (30 mins)
  • 4.50pm – Meetings conclude followed by networking refreshments
  • 6.00pm - Event officially finished and post event buyer famils to commence. All remaining delegates to depart.

Parking

  • For delegates staying overnight at the Hotel Grand Chancellor Brisbane, parking is included in your room rate per night.
  • For delegates that will drive to the hotel for the B2B meetings, daily parking is available for $20.00 per day (maximum 10 hours). If parking exceeds 10 hours, the cost will be $35.00.
  • Access - the hotel car park is located underneath the building, with access via Leichardt Street or Wickham Terrace. 

What to bring to the B2B - Sellers

Relative to marketing collateral and in an effort to be more sustainable ATEC:

  • Encourages all delegates to "go green". Please bring as much marketing collateral electronically as possible on fully charged iPad/laptops. We do understand some sellers may wish to bring printed presentations which is OK if you prefer.
  • Reminds our delegates that there will be charging points/power stations within the room however they will not be directly accessible from B2B tables.
  • Discourages the need for prizes, giveaways etc. in an effort to reduce waste and our carbon footprint for the event.
  • Advises that no pull up banners or display signage is permitted due to the space constraints in the venue.

Pre/Post Famil Programs

The pre and post famil programs are proudly facilitated by Brisbane Economic Development Agency and Visit Sunshine Coast. 

Buyers who expressed an interest in participating in a famil program will now have the details confirmed by Brisbane Economic Development Agency, Visit Sunshine Coast, or Tourism & Events Moreton Bay.

Additional Information

Buyer accommodation 

One night's accommodation at the Hotel Grand Chancellor Brisbane (including breakfast) has been booked for participating buyers that require it. Please see the details below and the hotel has also sent a confirmation email directly to each delegate.

  • Approximate travel time from Brisbane Airport: 20 minutes' drive
  • Check in: 2.00pm / Check out: 11.00am (although please check out prior to the B2B meetings and store your luggage at reception).
  • You will be advised of your room type upon check in.
  • Breakfast the following morning is included and is available at Frescos Restaurant from 6.30am.
  • Incidentals and any room upgrades are at your own expense and arrangement.

What happens if I can no longer attend?

Can I transfer my registration to another person?

  • Sellers: Yes, however any changes made to delegate details after 27 May 2026 will incur a $150+gst administration change fee.
  • Buyers: It may be possible but given travel and famil arrangements have now been confirmed, there will likely be costs associated with making alternative arrangements, including the above administration change fees.

How should I get to and from the airport?
