Registrations and ticketing:

Are registrations still open?

Yes and no! Full delegate registrations including B2B have now closed. However tickets for the Welcome Function, Conference and Gala will remain open until midnight Wednesday 9 October 2024. Please click here to purchase. 

Can I buy tickets at the door?

All tickets must be purchased in advance, online via our official event registration pages. 

What happens if I can no longer attend?

Can I transfer my registration to another person?

  • Seller and other non-buyer delegates - yes! 
  • Buyers - it may be possible, but given travel arrangements have now been confirmed, there will likely be costs associated with making alternative arrangements. 

Planning ahead:

Where should I stay?

  • Buyers - accommodation for your stay on the Gold Coast will be provided for three nights (including breakfast) from Monday 30 October (check in) to Thursday 31 October 2024 (check out) in one of the MP24 Partner hotels. Buyers will be advised of their accommodation allocation a minimum of two weeks prior to the event. Any additional arrangements outside of these dates will need to independently arrange and funded.
  • Sellers, other delegates and buyers travelling outside the official MP24 program will need to coordinate their own accommodation arrangements. Please click here for a list of MP24’s accommodation industry rates and offers.

How should I get to and from the airport?

All delegates will need to coordinate their own transfers to / from the Gold Coast including to / from Gold Coast Airport which is approximately 45 minutes travel by car to the CBD. 

(Buyers only) I need to change my travel arrangements, what should I do?

As Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) is coordinating all famil program and flight arrangements, you will need to liaise with them directly regarding any travel amendments. Please note there may be costs incurred by the buyer for any associated changes. If you do not have the contact details for TEQ, please contact events@atec.net.au and we will pass them on.

How do I get to and from my hotel and the event venues?

There will be some transfers provided throughout the event to a selection of the venues - more information to be provided on this shortly.

We also recommend utilising the heavily discounted Light Rail transport system, which is very accessible from various locations on the Gold Coast, for a flat $0.50c fare. Delegates can tap on and off with a credit card, or you can purchase goCards from tram stations and selected retailers.

The Light Rail conveniently has a stop close to the Gold Coast Convention Centre where the Business-to-Business meetings will be held on Tuesday 29 October 2024.

What is the dress code?

The dress code across MP24 is smart casual. 

What is the weather like in October?

MP24 will be hosted on the Gold Coast towards the end of spring, where sunny days are followed by mild tropical evenings and average temperatures range from 16.5 - 26 degrees Celsius. The days are typically dry but can be windy.

Please pack some warmer layers for air-conditioned venues and the cooler evening temperatures.

What if I lose my lanyard or gala finale wrist band?

What meals and drinks are included in my ticket?

  • Buyers Lunch: showcase lunch with local produce and beverages (invite only)
  • Welcome Function: cocktail style food, canapes, food stations and beverages
  • B2B, Supplier Forums/Presentations, Conference and Breakouts: welcome tea and coffee, morning and afternoon tea and networking lunch. Interactive food and beverage experiences will also be offered during the breakout sessions by the host venues. These include but are not limited to tastings and venue tours.
  • CEO Forum: beverages, canapes and a sit-down dinner (invite only)
  • Gala Finale: cocktail style food, canapes, food stations and beverages

More information about the B2B meetings and Supplier Forums

  • This component of the event will be held on Tuesday 29 October 2024 and involves two sessions of up to 24 x 1:1 commercial pre-scheduled appointment sessions, between registered buyer and seller delegates. 
  • Sellers receive a half day of appointments (AM or PM schedule) and may receive up to 24 meeting opportunities during the day.
  • Buyers receive a full day of appointments and may receive up to 48 meeting opportunities during the day.
  • Meetings will be 10 minutes in length with a 1-minute changeover.
  • Sellers will have a designated table in the Gold Coast Convention Centre space and buyers will move around the room to meet with them.
  • In the lead up to MP24, delegates have already had the opportunity to preference and pre-select their appointment schedule. Please bring a copy of your meeting schedule on the day. The MP24 APP will also have a copy of your meeting schedule.

As a seller delegate, what marketing collateral should I bring?

  • In an effort to be more sustainable we are encouraging all delegates to "go green" and bring their marketing collateral electronically on their iPad/laptop. Please ensure you come fully charged on the day, however, there will be charging stations available if required. 
  • We are also discouraging the need for prizes, giveaways etc. in an effort to reduce waste and our carbon footprint for the event.  
  • Please note that no pull up banners or display signage are permitted unless you are an STO or Service Provider Partner with an allocated exhibition space. 

As a seller delegate, what should I do during the time I’m not attending B2B appointments? 

The MP24 program includes several supplier forums and presentations that will be held at the Gold Coast Convention Centre. These sessions will run concurrently to the B2B meetings. This will enable sellers who have meetings in the morning to attend the afternoon sessions and vice versa.  Click here to view the program
