The Gold Coast is proud to wave the flag for Queensland in hosting more than 500 tourism experts, who will then disperse throughout the state on a familiarisation program, in what is one of Australia’s key tourism business-to-business conferences. 

We're already welcoming one million international visitors a year but have bold goals to almost double that figure by 2032. We need to grow our international overnight visitor expenditure to $11 billion to hit our overall target of $44 billion by 2032, so it’s events like this that will help connect more Queensland tourism operators with trade partners to sell more Queensland holidays. 

International visitors account for 10 per cent of our visitor numbers but 25 per cent in spend so we are laser focused on ensuring that Queensland remains top of mind.
