ATEC, in partnership with Tourism and Events Northern Territory (TENT) and Tourism Central Australia (TCA), are delighted to be delivering Explore Northern Territory (Explore NT) in Alice Springs/Mparntwe from 24 - 25 March 2026.  

Location

From world-class galleries and cultural festivals to outback adventures and breathtaking natural wonders, the Northern Territory invites travellers to slow down, listen and immerse themselves. 

Alice Springs/Mparntwe stands as a welcoming, culturally strong destination that encourages visitors to connect with its people, experience the spirit of the desert and leave with memories that stay long after the journey ends.

Event overview & inclusions

Explore NT will include an immersive welcome networking function on the Tuesday evening (24 March) which will include return transfers, dinner and a nocturnal tour at the Alice Springs Desert Park, followed by a full day of business-to-business (B2B) meetings and networking refreshments on the Wednesday at the Alice Springs Convention Centre.  

Buyers are encouraged to arrive in region throughout the Monday 23 March so they can participate in local experiences and activities on the Tuesday morning, hosted by TCA, followed by an afternoon of new product B2B as part of the Central Australia Tourism Exchange. The official welcome networking function will follow this day of activities.  

On the Wednesday (25 March) morning prior to the Explore NT B2B, a Buyer Breakfast will be held with presentations by the sponsors of the event as well as a face-to-face sellers pitch to buyers for five local trainee products.  

TENT are also inviting buyers to express an interest in participating in a hosted post-famil program that will focus on four different regions - Alice Springs & Uluru, Alice Springs & Kings Canyon, Kings Canyon & Uluru, and Top End. Please view the famil options here.

Overnight accommodation is included in the registration fee for buyers.

For sellers that require it, industry rates will be provided from accommodation partners. 

ATEC seller members from the Northern Territory and buyers from all Australian geographic areas are invited to participate.
