What is Meeting Place?
Meeting Place (MP) is ATEC’s annual flagship event which takes place in a different tourism destination within Australia, this year it is being hosted in Perth. MP is the second largest tourism trade event after Tourism Australia's Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE) and includes business-to-business meetings, conferencing sessions, networking functions, a gala dinner and much more. It also provides the opportunity for Australian-based inbound tourism operators and distributors to experience Western Australia's tourism offerings first-hand through pre-event familiarisations.
Who attends Meeting Place?
Attendees are ATEC members who represent the full expanse of the inbound tourism supply chain including product suppliers/sellers (attractions, hotels, transport operators, wineries, activity-based products, etc) and buyers including inbound tour operators (ITOs) and online travel agents (OTAs) who distribute Australian tourism product internationally either via international trade partners or directly as well as providing a support service for international visitors while travelling in Australia.
Meeting Place in 2025 (MP25)
