We’re excited to announce that the Meeting Place 2025 mobile event app is now available! The app is your go-to resource during MP25, providing access to essential event information and tools to make the most of your experience.

We strongly encourage you to download the events app BEFORE the event starts on Monday 27 October to familiarise yourself with its functionality.

Without logging in & COMPLETING STEP 4 (BELOW), you will be unable to connect with delegates or view their profiles.

How to Download & Log In:

*Please note - personalised login details will have been emailed to all delegates. Refer to communications sent from ATEC Events with the information.

1. DOWNLOAD:

On your phone navigate to your applicable app store (e.g. Apple Store for iPhone users and the Play Store for Android users). Once in the app store search for the following application - The Event App by EventsAir. Once located please download the application. Refer to the attached image to ensure you download the correct application.

2. OPEN:

Once downloaded, open the app on your phone/tablet. When prompted, enter app code ATECMP25 and allow us to send you push notifications.

Note: if you already have this app downloaded from previous years, it may pop up with an error notification. If it does, delete the app and data from your phone, download it again and follow the instructions as below.

3. LOG-IN:

Please find the ‘log in’ icon and enter the details emailed to you from ATEC Events (these are unique to you).

EXAMPLE: jenny.smith@abc.net.au and AK1JZ2 to enable full accessibility on the app - without logging in you will be unable to connect with delegates or view their profiles.

4. PRIVACY & SETTINGS - IMPORTANT - ACTION REQUIRED:

Go into the Privacy & Settings icon first (if it doesn't automatically pop up) and enable the contact details that you would like to share with the other delegates.

We strongly recommend sharing your full name, position, organisation, email address, and phone number. This will ensure that you can connect with other delegates throughout and following the event.

Make sure you click the green tick button next to the contact details you wish to share and scroll to the bottom.

Time Zone: Choose Event time zone and then Update.

Once you complete the above steps you are all logged in and set for the event!

Navigating the Attendee App

Event Info: Check this icon to see general event information.

Privacy & Settings: We strongly recommend sharing your full name, position, organisation, email address, and phone number. This will ensure that you can connect with other delegates throughout and following the event.

Program: View what’s on across the 3-days of Meeting Place.

Contact Exchange: The contact exchange allows you to scan another delegates QR code and capture their contact details. You can then direct message, add notes and export these contacts directly to your email. Delegates can also scan your QR code, use it to share your contact details with other delegates.

My Appointments: If you are registered to participate in the B2B workshops as the primary delegate you can view your appointment schedule via the ‘My Appointments’ icon. Please be aware that only Primary Delegates have access to the meeting schedule. Please make arrangements to print or distribute as needed.

Attendees: Search via this icon to see who’s at MP25 and send direct messages to other delegates.

Event Notes: This feature allows you to take general notes during the event. Each note you create automatically saves and can be later exported.

Blue Tuesday: Click to see how ATEC is supporting the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA) on Tuesday 28 October. Donations can also be made through this icon.

Alerts: View updates and messages from the ATEC events team during the event.

Based on post event feedback from previous years events, we have identified several functionality and user experience issues that impacted overall satisfaction with the app during previous events.

Only the primary delegate can see the meeting schedule...

Unfortunately, this is not a current feature of the Eventsair attendee app and only primary delegates can view the meeting diary. We have passed on this recommendation to the Eventsair development team. Please ensure you have a printed version of the meeting schedule or have distributed it to your team elsewhere.

The app keeps freezing, what is happening?

Unfortunately, performance issues within the Attendee App can be caused by various factors including the network connection at the event.

After connecting with other delegates profiles, the attendee contact details of the other persons' profile was incomplete....

Due to privacy concerns, ATEC is unable to 'opt in' contact information for delegates on their behalf. *Please ensure you enable full contact information to be shared upon login so full contact information is shared with other delegates when you connect.

Can I export the contacts I've made through the app into a Excel or CSV file post event?

Unfortunately, this is not a current feature of the Eventsair attendee app. We have passed on this recommendation to the Eventsair development team. We will send out full contact lists of delegates at the conclusion of the event.

The meeting diary did not default to the current or next meeting upon reopening, requiring manual scrolling and constant refreshing....

Schedules only show the organisation name, not the contact information of the delegate I am meeting with.....
