Tourism Western Australia (TWA) is delighted to offer buyer delegates the opportunity to express their interest in participating in an immersive pre-famil program, designed to maximise their visit to Western Australia for ATEC Meeting Place 2025.

Western Australia offers a diverse and captivating experience for international travellers. From the vibrant city life of Perth, known for its beautiful beaches and cultural attractions, to the pristine natural beauty of the Ningaloo Reef, where visitors can swim with whale sharks, the state provides a unique blend of urban and natural adventures. The Margaret River region is renowned for its world-class wineries and gourmet food, attracting food and wine enthusiasts from around the globe. Additionally, the Kimberley region offers rugged landscapes and rich Aboriginal heritage, providing travellers with a deep connection to Australia's ancient cultures. These diverse attractions make Western Australia a compelling destination for international visitors seeking both relaxation and adventure.

Below is a brief outline of the options available. During the registration process, buyers will be invited to indicate whether they would like to be considered for a famil program. If so, they will be asked to rank their famil participation preferences.

Please note that places may be limited and selection is at the discretion of TWA. TWA will contact participants after registrations close to confirm next steps and provide further itinerary details to assist with travel planning, including the requirement for buyers to make their own flight bookings.

1. Broome Time 

Depart: Morning of Friday, 24 October 2025 

Arrive: Afternoon/Evening of Sunday, 26 October 2025 

Explore the extraordinary sights of Broome / Rubibi including the iconic 22-kilometre stretch of coastline at Cable Beach / Walmanyjun, take a camel ride against a stunning sunset over the Indian Ocean, and uncover ancient dinosaur footprints. Immerse yourself in the stories of pearl divers and Aboriginal heritage. Wrap up your journey with a relaxing evening in Perth / Boorloo.  

2. Great Southern  

Depart: Morning of Friday, 24 October 2025 
Arrive: Afternoon/Evening of Sunday, 26 October 2025 

Take a short flight to Albany / Kinjarling to explore stunning natural landscapes, from dramatic coastal formations to breathtaking views upon treetop walkways surrounded by towering forests. Discover rich local history and stories of the past. Taste the delights of food and cool climate wines in Denmark. End your trip unwinding for a night in Perth / Boorloo. 

3. Indian Ocean Drive  

Depart: Morning of Friday, 24 October 2025 
Arrive: Afternoon/Evening of Sunday, 26 October 2025 

Take a short flight to a Geraldton / Jambinu before heading out to witness the striking colours of Hutt Lagoon. Soak in sweeping views of the dramatic landscapes and natural rock formations at Kalbarri National Park. Explore otherworldly rock formations of the Pinnacles and enjoy an adventure among sand dunes. Wrap up your journey with a relaxing evening in Perth / Boorloo.  

4. Margaret River Region 

Depart: Morning of Friday, 24 October 2025 
Arrive: Afternoon/Evening of Sunday, 26 October 2025 

Experience the best of the Margaret River Region by tasting your way through the region’s very best produce and award-winning wines. It's the only wine region in Australia where you can hop from award-winning wineries and restaurants to stunning beaches, tall-timber forests, green seas and discover the otherworldly environments of ancient caves. 5. Perth and Surrounds 

Depart: Morning of Friday, 24 October 2025 
Arrive: Afternoon/Evening of Sunday, 26 October 2025 

Perth / Boorloo, Australia‘s sunniest capital, has a growing street art scene, small bars and scenic parks to discover. Experience the peace and tranquillity of lighter-than-air flight over the picturesque Avon Valley before visiting WA’s oldest wine region, the Swan Valley.
